At least 2 people, no matter their personal circumstances, have been very hurt by this. Among others for various reasons I can assume..maybe not.

I dunno..but if you are gonna strive for how you want this place to be..start ey?

And no, I was not scared to come here and post, Im not intimidated by things like that, I just made the choice to not get involved. But, that changed..so..

Im not holding anything against anyone, a mis-read happens, I dont believe anything was done on purpose by anyone..

I would like to see something good come of hurt. Yes, I was heartbroke when I seen and heard, but that can be easily handled in the right loving way.. And Eric hasnt been any better for the wear...

Hi Cheri, nice to meet you. The person that said that was Lady Trekki. I "think" what happened was, after she said that, some people assumed you had died.

I've read many of Time's posts, and I always thought there was a divorce or a separation. Never once did I think you had died.

Time never lied about anything. The problem is, some people enjoy painting him as a liar because they want to destroy him.

I know who it was ..I read..lol Ive read LT alot and surely didnt understand. But, people didnt assume, she said "his wife died", it left no room for assumption. BUT..again, mis reads happen, I dont believe there was any malicious intent...

I pretty much opted to stay out of places Eric posted..lol CC was in such chaos, and at one point, I seen the Fixing CC thread and thought maybe things were settling down..so I checked it out and seen LT post. Well..you can imagine ...

There is a indiviual that I talk to daily..and I had mentioned it to him and stated that I was 'that wife' (however you want to word this at this point) and I didnt understand? He was shocked becuz he had heard the same ...and soon to find out, MANY people were already 'told' this..or seen, or read, or knew ..whatever and however. But yes, I asked FR, and yes..so far everyone figured me for dead but me..lol

I did ask 2 people to contact LT and inform that the idea I was dead was untrue and there was no reason to feel bad for something that hadnt happened...I did feel bad, that she felt bad. It was a very strange mix of emotions..and I surely didnt understand...

Don't think it matters who said it first - was a misunderstanding which is cleared up now.
So perhaps we can leave Time and Cheri alone and concentrate on other things...

I couldn't find the posts I was referring to. It was back in August I believe, but it's hard to find specific posts if you don't know what thread they were made in. If anyone else can, knock yourself out.

But I realize that, as Criada said, it doesnt really matter. It's my post you read Cheri, and so it's ultimately my fault this whole thing happened...and I'll take responsibility for my part in it. I ask for forgiveness from both Cheri and Eric. It wasnt intentional.

Listen, I need to clear something up. When you said you had lost your wife, I remember thinking at the time that it was strange wording if she had died. I never asked any questions though, and at the time I wasn't paying too much attention. I just knew you were hurting over it and needed prayer. OK? Then later on someone else, I'm not sure who at this point, referred to her as being passed away. So I thought I'd missed your post on it or something and took that for truth. Others had commented and so it went. Then when all this stuff started hitting the fan, I was trying to be encouraging and spoke about it in the thread that Cheri read. You never corrected me about it either. Not trying to be critical but I think if you would have said something to me in PM or something I would have retracted the stupid comment. I'm very sorry for all the trouble it's caused and I hope you know I never intended for it to happen. This whole thing has been blown way out of proportion and it should never have been allowed to happen.

Please forgive me.

I never held you to blame for this. I understand its a misunderstanding. Ive made the coment 2 times that i lost my wife and my job, the woman i loved so much for 8 yrs. theres much you dont realize of what we went through and why its so painful, i will explain one day

LT about the day you posted that saying she was dead. Sis how can i correct you when i was fsb'd when you said it? Sis i never read that, didnt know it was said until rick came out with his 'eric is a liar' thread. Sis no one came to me at all. I would have happily corrected it if i thought someone thought she was dead. Fr Rick just used it to try to hurt me, but its going to backfire. I love her and miss her so much sis, every time i think of her i cry, so needless to say my eyes havent been dry since that day.

But im not mad at you, and i dont blame you. Rick intentionally victimized many people, you were one, and it breaks my heart he used Cheri the way he did. You were a victim too sissy and im so sorry for that
