Just wrote an email to a local Baptist minister asking for contacts with people in the outreach ministry

In my previous time as a Christian I was never very keen on the evangelical churches... not "historical" enough for me. But I do find much spirit and working of God in them..

and may I ask what makes you uncomfortable around evangelicals? Since I am one, and a Southern Baptist, perhaps I and others could help to explain "us".
