  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

There are plenty of different kinds of herbal teas to pick from. Ones that I drink frequently are licorice root (probably the tastiest- it's naturally sweet and great for your adrenal glands), dandelion root (usually drink this with cream, like coffee- great for detoxing), and chamomile, milk thistle, ginger, etc.

Celestial Seasonings from the grocery store has a great selection of herbal teas, and many health food stores have a unique selection of pleasure-based herbal teas as well.

Pharmaceutical grade herbal teas are typically used for medicinal purposes and not enjoyment, but they get the job done if you have a health problem you need fixed. For example, dandelion root tea is great for stimulating bile production and breaking down fats in the liver. (Personally, I like the taste!)

Don't know if they have it in Norway but I like the brand yogi tea. They have specific blends for different things
So is the yogi to help the drinker go to sleep? my wife likes 'sleepy time' tea.

Are there any herbal teas that are very tasty and healthy that you would recommend?

I highly recommend fresh basil tea. Especially if you suffer from stress/flu/migraenes and there is long list of other benefits.
