I am just getting out of an abusive relationship and I am hurting soooo bad!! Any suggestions?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I would suggest really doing some soul searching and getting to the truth of the issues in your heart.
The truth can be really painful but it will also free you from contaminating habits and give you understanding.

i agree, support groups or counceling will help. also if you are lonely, try a pet to keep you company, it gives you someone to talk to that wont judge or critisize.

find someone to talk to, also to be there for you during this time. I know i is hard, but you can do it and staand on your own, do not let the other person bring you down.

SUPPORT, SUPPORT, SUPPORT!!! You need people you can talk to, hopefully a Christian counselor or trusted pastor. I find ladies that are older are a great source of comfort and wisdom. I don't know if you have children, it wasn't indicated on your info, but if not.. get into some volunteering. You would be amazed at how needed you are, and how much you are worth. God can use even this for good, if you seek to do what He wants. Apply for classes of some sort, if that appeals to you. Point is, don't sit at home when you're not working being alone. Your sisters in Christ will be a wonderful comfort to you. But most of all, you have a Daddy in heaven that wants the best for you and will treat you like the princess you are. You are worth more than gold to Him, and He treasures you. Don't let what happened to you define who you are. Let God define who you are. Good luck sister, May the Lord Our God bless you abundantly.
