43 Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people, producing the fruit of it.

What is the fruit of the Kingdom?

Comments appreciated.
Romans 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking,
but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

James 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace
by those who make peace.

Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy;
break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord,
till he comes and rains righteousness upon you.

John 14:24 Until now you have asked nothing in My name.
Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.

Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace;
and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

What is the fruit of the Kingdom?
"But the fruit of the Spirit is
  • love,
  • joy,
  • peace,
  • longsuffering [a.k.a. perseverance],
  • kindness,
  • goodness,
  • faithfulness,
  • gentleness,
  • self-control.
Against such there is no law." Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV

As usual the KJV is clearer

43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

You: the nation of Israel
a nation: The little flock of Jewish believers shepherd by Peter, aka true Israel

Fruit refers to repentance and water baptism, the requirements under the gospel of kingdom preached by Jesus and the 12 to Israel.

I don't know any scriptures to support this statement, KJV or otherwise.
Could you share how you arrived at this? This is a better understanding:
Change in behavior is the fruit of repentance.

Matthew 3:8 Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance.
For example:
Luke 19:
8
Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, Look, Lord, I give half
of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone
by false accusation, I restore fourfold.
9 And Jesus said to him, Today salvation has come to this house,
because he also is a son of Abraham.

Now that is the fruit of the kingdom.
The fruit of repentance.

Wait a minute! How is that clearer? It is false. The kingdom of God was not
given to another nation, but to all people everywhere, whosoever would
repent and believe, to live the Gospel. I love the KJV, but sometimes it has
been improved on. I will go with the OP translation.

Are you aware of the content of the gospel of the kingdom that was preached during Jesus's first coming?

It started from the promise Nathan gave to King David in 2 Samuel 7:12-16, and was repeated by the angel Gabriel to Mary in Luke 1:30-33.

In Scripture, nation (singular) always refers to Israel.

The little flock refers to those from Israel who believed that Jesus was the promised Son of God, the one that Paul called "True Israel" (Romans 9:6-7)

Ok already we have a multitude of answers.

Heres my take...

The Kingdom of God exists where Jesus is King.

Now when Jesus Himself was asked to confirm His authenticity He answered as follows.

Matt 11:

4 Jesus answered and said to them, “Go and report to John what you hear and see: 5 the blind receive sight and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 And blessed is he who does not take offense at Me.”

He didn't say anything about the fruit of the spirit - He stressed actions.

To me this ties into Matt 25

Judgement is about what we did...

35 For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36 naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’

These are all actions.

Duh? Sorry, too bizarre of a question for me to answer with a straight face.
It started from the promise Nathan gave to King David in 2 Samuel 7:12-16,
No sir. This is the covenant, the sure mercies of David. Isaiah 55:3
Why are you dodging a simple question?

I don't know any scriptures to support this statement, KJV or otherwise.

I find it extremely rude when you make a statement without any scriptural
support, and when asked if you could provide something to back what you
have said, you dodge the question by asking me a question. Get real, man!
Answer my questions, or ask me nothing. I am not your fool.

In Mark 16:17-18, Jesus call those "signs" rather than "fruits."

"And these signs will follow those who believe:
In My name

  • they will cast out demons;
  • they will speak with new tongues;
  • they will take up serpents; and
  • if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them;
  • they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” NKJV

He didn't say anything about the fruit of the spirit - He stressed actions.
Even more importantly, He was declaring the fulfillment of prophecy concerning
Himself as the Messiah, in answer to John's question.
Isaiah 61:
1
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,

Luke 4:
16
So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up.
And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the
Sabbath day, and stood up to read.
17 And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah.
And when He had opened the book, He found the place
where it was written:
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed;
19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.
20 Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the
attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were
in the synagogue were fixed on Him.
21 And He began to say to them,
Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.

Interesting you asked me a question on the part of my post where I mentioned the gospel of the kingdom.

When you ask for scripture support, all I did was to ask whether you are aware of what the gospel of the kingdom was about. And I then explained to you what it is using scripture.

Why do you consider that as rude?

An excellent point - I should have presented this more carefully.

I am then interested in the signs of the Kingdom as these are actions and we are judged by action not fruit.

What does this have to do with giving the kingdom to another nation?
Is "little flock" a nation?

I am not so sure you can separate action from fruit that easily Carl.
Neither can you separate kingdom actions from the gifts of the Spirit.
This all comes together, working together for the good of those who
love the Lord.

John 15:
7
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire,
and it shall be done for you.

8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit;
so you will be My disciples.

We should not neglect one over the other.

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven,
but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Many will say to Me in that day,

‘Lord, Lord, have we not
  • prophesied in Your name,
  • cast out demons in Your name, and
  • done many wonders in Your name?’
And then I will declare to them,
‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ " Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV

Why do you consider that as rude?
And you still haven't answered the question. Where do you come up with this?
Fruit refers to repentance and water baptism, the requirements under the gospel of kingdom preached by Jesus and the 12 to Israel.
Where is water baptism or repentance ever referred to as fruit?
