Help with guilt.

Hello, first post here so please be nice!

So I've been a christian around 6 years now, raised in a believing home yet only started to worship god at age 11.

I am now age 17 and last night went to my first party. There was a lot of alcohol and i ended up drinking about 7 cans of beer. I'm not happy about it, my friends pressured me into it, I hope you can understand.

Then a girl I fancied invited me away to an upstairs room, we started off kissing but then it progressed to a lot more, if you know what I mean.

I want to be forgiven, have any of you been in a similar situation? What do I do?

Hello young man! Temptation is around every corner and if you put yourself into a situation where your there's going to be girls and booze guilt will soon be followed after you've sinned. Pray for forgivenes ~!~ choose your friends wisely.

Yes that's sex an yes you can and have been forgiven no matter your mindset. Fwiw I list constantly (haven't had sex) but I don't like it. I do feel ashamed/ guilty but In my heart I know God has forgiven me and as long as I keep him through Christ close I still get into Heaven if that's what your stressed about (shouldn't be). And remember God knew before you had your first drink what would unfold that night. It is all I'm his mighty plan to make you stronger as a Xian, I'm sure

Hey, just another perspective.
God will forgive you for anything, you just have to ask. We all stuff up from time to time but that's why he sent Jesus, to die so we can be forgiven.
Just because you are forgiven though doesn't mean you keep making the same mistakes. You said you were pressured and I don't have any problems with having a good time but if you feel uncomfortable with what they want you to do then maybe it's time to find friends that respect your values.
It might be hard but in the end it's so worth it. I used to hang with different people but I got a chance to start over and now I have a group of supportive friends who are really like family.

i know it might not have anything really to do with this but what happens if u know something you do is wrong but it was something you feel like its hard to fight every chance you get with it... do you think God stilll forgives?

If you know it's wrong then simply fight it. You might not succeed at first but pray and trust that God will help. Don't rely on your own strength, trust others and God.
He will forgive you as long as you ask. We are not perfect, and God knows that. That's why he sent Jesus.
We all have things we fight against. Whenever I feel like I'm going to relapse into my bad habits I take a deep breath, pray, read my bible and think of a happy memory. I literally have a bank of memories that never fail to make me smile and somehow it helps me stay in control.

God always forgives those who ask

"All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name." (Acts 10:43 NIV)

"This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins." (Matthew 26:28 NIV)

"Even if they sin against you seven times in a day and seven times come back to you saying 'I repent,' you must forgive them." (Luke 17:4 NIV)
(that last verse is meant as a commandment but God gives us guidelines so we can act in a holy way. But he uses these same rules himself, therefore you will be forgiven)

If God could forgive even Moses for murdering an Egyptian, it's 100% certain he will forgive you. Jesus even says that all sins will be forgiven in his name. If all pronounce Jesus as Lord and repent, they will forever be with him in Heaven no matter what degree the sin was.
