Help Wanted

These past couple years have been really difficult for me. I have been struggling with depression for a long time but chose to finally go get some help about 6-7 months ago. I have struggled to stay with God and the feeling is horrible. I feel as though I am not living up to his expectations.
What is worse is that I have a girlfriend who I can never see. Her parents hate me and the bad part is that they do not know that we are goin out.
I pray everyday that God would send me a sign but I have yet to see one. I need some help or at least someone to talk to.

Take a DEEP breathe. Ok, now about staying with god's expectations, in reality his bar is EXTREMELY low. Jesus walked among sinners, not among priests. His love is unconditional, the problem is do you want to love him back and accept him into your heart? Even king David sinned greatly, adultry and murder, but his love and faith in god made him a good king.

That's awesome you have a girlfriend, but make sure you two are going out for the right reasons and not for lust. Since the situation forces you to have time appart, take this time to seek god out. Learn from the wisdom of the bible, so when she becomes a woman. Both of you can start life with a strong relationship built on stone and not sand.

Also do not lie to her folks, just makes them distrust you even more. If they can't trust you behind their backs, how can they trust you infront of them?
