he did not have to send his son but he did..and that's something I just wish I can grasp, his love it always brings up this voice in the back of my head saying "he should not have done it we were evil creatures we deserved what we got coming it should not have been we don't deserve that love we don't deserve that mercy" and yet he did

and no I'm not depressed but it does bother me in a good way

1. Where was Yahweh throughout the old religions?

Answer: He was beginning to set the stage on the earth so that eventually the Son of God (Jesus Christ) would come to redeem humanity from the curse of sin and death. The reason you are Im sure noticing the unfathomably barbaric and gruesome nature of past civilizations is because mankind is corrupt at heart. After Jesus came and the church was established and the gospel began to spread things got a lot better on the earth but the fact remains that mankind is evil at heart and we need a Savior. Read the old testament. Genesis and exodus will show you what He was doing.

2. Are demons and angels the same type of entities?

Answer: The bible says that when lucifer was thrown from heaven a third of the angels of heaven fell with him. These would be the fallen angels. They are of the same makup as angels but they are opposed to Yahweh.

3.Does angels have sigils also and if so where can I find them?

Answer: I cant think of anything in the bible that infers that they do. Trying to make connection with angels I would say is an extremely dangerous thing to do because I would imagine it would most likely be considered witchcraft legally speaking. We are never told to try to contact angels. And we are forbidden from contacting fallen angels.

4. What is the best way to make a connection with Yahweh?

Answer: He is the creator and sustainer of all life. He is holding your mind together right now. He knows the prayers that are in your mind to pray before they come out your mouth. Just speak to Him.

5. If I was to attempt to make contact with one of these entities, would I be eternally damned in the Christian religion?

Answer: Its called witchcraft. And it will pull you away from God. Typically your not even going to get the ability to truly speak to fallen angels until you have done some horrible things. Whichcraft is like a rabbit hole. Once you go in you keep getting drawn farther and farther in. Its a world of confusion and deception.

I know you feel that desire to learn more. Im telling you man dont do it. Dont go down that road. When the devil came to eve he promised her "knowledge". And thats the same promise he makes to those who turn to whichcraft today.

I would really recommend that you try to do what the God who made everything says to do. You know the One who is more powerful than any other created being in existence. Im just going to throw that out there.

Read the bible man. Ask God to show you whats going on this world. He will teach you. If you dont believe me lookup Amos 3:7. If you follow Yahweh He will reveal His secrets to you. But you have to obey Him. Im telling you right now contacting other entities is not what He wants you to do. Read the old testament law. And read the new testament. Realize that your greatest need is to be born again. That is the beginning of true knowledge and wisdom. If you dont find new birth than you will die in your sins. Dont let that happen man. You do not want to have to pay for your own sins on the last day. Im not saying that you haven't, I dont know if you have or not.

Listen to Paul Washer if you do want to know more about what it means to be born again. He will explain more of what it means.

May the Lord help you.

Mike

I have an interesting story to tell, although it may not be strictly related.

I'll start with a bit of background, I hope it isn't overlong.

I have been a Christian for 25 years. I have an uncle and an aunt who are psychics. My uncle is possibly a warlock. I don't know the exact definition but he has a spirit guide that imparts to him knowledge of people's past and future, among others. One of his rituals is to immerse his body in a vat of cold water for hours (or days) at a time.

One time we were out together, I was showing him a piece of land. Due to the thunderstorm we couldn't leave the car. I said, we'll come back the next day due to the weather. He replied, "stay, the sky will clear soon." It was noon and the sky was like dusk due to the cloudcover. Sure enough, within 5 minutes, the rain stopped, the clouds cleared and we got off the car. This is something I will remember for a long time to come.

He also leads "lost and shocked souls" (mostly from accidental deaths) as well as "stuck souls" (from unfinished business) from our realm to the next. He is also able to conduct astral projection and traveling to other destinations.

After much observations, I conclude that their powers are not from God because they both suffer from disabling physical ailments and family issues. I believe that if God blesses you with the powers of discernment and prophecy, you don't have to pay it back with your hide and family.

----

Experience 1:
I am an open minded Christian (I don't ask people to repent and convict them to Hell if they don't), and I am quite scientific in my thinking. So one day I asked him to categorise these 'spirits' to the best of his knowledge.

They are (according to him):
1. Spirits who have always existed (or have existed for a long time). For example, he claims inhabiting a tree where I work are 3 spirits, a mother and her two children.
2. Temporary Spirits (usually from accidental deaths and unfinished business).
3. Spirits who are of a very high level of power, very bright, he dare not get close to them. I interpret this as angels.
4. Spirits who are very dark and fills him with fear. I interpret this as demons.

Experience 2: I little background as well, I hope its not too long.

One day I read this book "Fallen Angels Watchers, and the Origins of Evil" by Joseph Lumpkin. Texts of Enoch, Jasher, Jubilees, The War Scrolls, the Holy Bible were used to form a chronicle of the creation and deeds of the fallen ones.

From reading that book, I gather that Lucifer is not the name of the Devil. Lucifer is a term we apply to the Devil based on Isaiah 14:12 (a single bible verse!) during the middle ages. Those more knowledgable correct me if I am wrong.

Based on that text, there is a name to the first angel that fell. There is a possibility that this is the angel that tempted Adam and Eve. I'm not going say the name here but its not Lucifer.

God then sends the Angelic watchers to watch over us, and these second group of Angels also fell into sin and they were the "sons of God" of Genesis 6:2 that intermingled with human women and produced beings with half angelic blood, the nephilim.

---

So, one day I was having coffee with this psychic (possibly warlock) uncle and I asked him what this N term meant. I've also heard the claim that the old testament is mostly hyperbole and methaporic in its intent, so being an open minded Christian I am curious whether there are specific truths to the old testament. I figure if my faith isn't strong enough to hear the opinion of unbelievers and dissenters then

He said, "I haven't heard that term before let me ask my teacher (his term for his spirit guide)". Suddenly his eyes opened wide, he has goosebumps and cold sweats. He says to me with wide eyes, and points to an imaginary point behind his shoulder, "He (his spirit guide) is chattering like mad and wouldn't stop speaking."

He went silent and stayed still for a few moments, then breathed a long sigh and looked at me, "It's always tiring communicating with him, especially when he is this intense and chatty. I won't tell you everything he (his spirit guide) is saying but suffice it to say that that N word involves a bunch of people during Babylonian times who formed a pact." That's all he would say, I couldn't make him say anything else.

Then he added, "When you say that N word, make sure you pray a ward of protection beforehand. They are dangerous beings."

---

A large part of Christianity today is very secular, ignoring and not putting much emphasis on the spiritual warfare aspects of Christianity and its initial lore. I thought that was interesting and brings a whole dimension of veracity to the old testament bible. For me, it added a layer of truth and solidity to the old testament and added to my faith.

Hey Anthony I'm late to this party and I won't pretend to support or refute any of the responses I've just read. But I would like to encourage you to seek to obey God rather than seeking any existential "connection". His yoke is easy and His burden is light. I think these moments only come to us on His terms. Don't put that pressure on yourself.
As to heaven, hell, devils, angels, and everything in between; it's normal to be curious about such things. If your curiosity is from an angle of proving/disproving the Bible, I think this is probably a dead end. If it's genuine curiosity, than I advise using only the Bible as your source. I hold to the truth that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. There's way better validations than this, but I look at any insect and it's infinite improbabilities of existing and it's no great stretch to believe that that bug's creator, my creator, the author of my salvation...could write a book--the Bible.
