  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I have been addicted to porn since I was 12, and have battled with it on and off. I finally thought I was rid of it, but now I am 3 months pregnant and my sex drive is through the roof. Out if no where my hubby has developed issues that affect his erection (all psychological) so sometimes he can perform and sometimes he can't. It's driving me nuts, and I have since started watching porn again :(. Any advice???

Yes, stop looking at porn.

You and your husband can also do other stuff together....

There are things other than just coitus that you and your husband can engage in. Let him know that a loving touch can go a long way (if true for you).

Also, consider initiating more often.

If his erection issues came out of nowhere, he really should see a doctor.

When I was pregnant, I was the opposite - did not really have much interest in sex, so I can't help you there, but I have to say that I agree with Link....porn is not the answer. Not only is it adulterous, it could very well destroy your marriage (depending on how your husband feels about it). Instead, get creative with your husband until you get to the bottom of his issues.

Is there a possibility that he's now also viewing porn?

You did say, "all psychological".....does this mean you may have more insight into the reason?

As for any advice? Have you seen this site: » Get HelpDON’T FIGHT THIS ALONE ?

First thing you need to do is confess to your husband and repent. You also want to make sure that this doesn't become something you both do together - amongst other reasons it is adultery.

The next thing you need to do is install some filtering and accountability software on every device you use to access the internet on - and you need to not know the password (this is where a trusted friend or your husband can help). This won't end the issue with porn, but having fences up will help. I'll be praying.
