• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together.   • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Does anyone here know anything about Relationship OCD. I'm starting to get into a new relationship and I get this thoughts does she like me when clearly she says yes I do and yes you can get close to me.. I was talking to her today and was like I needed her to say everything will work out and I'll see you again... Like I worry so much that she doesn't like me and I have these doubts....That does she really like me and it's causes anxiety nothing like my Religous OCD but still I have never in my whole life doubted a relationship like this one.... And I feel horrible because I ask my self is she lieing does she really care.... And I should'nt put her in a box like that.... so any advice please....

dabro bro ..the first think you should do is assume the very best ..assume the opposite of what youre mind is telling you if you do that then you won't sabotage this relationship ..dont second guess her ..dont assume anything ..let it happen naturally ..
