That is sooooo sad. If he has been treated harshly because of accidents that is extremely worrying. (Even if a child did that deliberately it should still be dealt with calmly and peacefully.) It sounds like someone has been giving the poor little lad a hard time. I pray that you and your daughter find the right way to protect him.

That was years ago. He's probably in his thirties now. His mother moved several states away and he went with her.

I think that's a big ... and potentially, very helpful ... revelation to learn about oneself.
Especially when one discovers this later in life, after many years of unknowingly having lived with the condition.

John 8:31-32 says:

“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

I love how the Lord reveals truth to us, when it is time for us to know it.
He is a Great God!
