We had a long talk with an Oncologist about these things last year. You should as well.
I tend to agree with you, but my friend swears that his mom had breast cancer and beat it using the methods on the documentary. He's always talked about his moms success, so naturally, he was the first person I called.

We experienced this last year. I feel for you all. I really do. Anymore info from the doctor?

No. They did a stent surgery on her today, which is supposed to be the last part of the procedures -something to do with her gall bladder. Once she recovers from that, she's headed home with dad.

...Hopefully she's home for this weekend, when we get there.

Ok. Please discuss this homeopathic stuff with the doctor. It is very important.

looked it up; there is a cancer treatment center (part of the Cancer Treatment Centers of America) in Goodyear, AZ, a suburb of Phoenix.
you might want to check that out too.

I am glad she has your dad to be with her. I know how hard it is to be away from family when they are ill or undergoing surgery--I've dealt with that for more than 26 years, and it's wrenching.

I didn't read the article about alternative cancer treatments, but my sister and her significant other nursed his best friend through pancreatic cancer. He eventually succumbed to the disease but they gave him significant relief, more comfort, and a longer life by using alkaline water, certain kinds of baths, and acupuncture. Alkaline water is pretty inexpensive--they sell several gallons for $1 in the health food store by us.

At the time his best friend was severely bloated and could scarcely move. He had always bee an active man who was fixing up a house he'd bought when he got sick. With the alkaline water he lost all the bloat and went back to walking two miles a day. It wasn't a cure for this particular man, and I don't want to mislead you by saying it was, but he lived about six months longer than expected, and most of those months were very good months where he was able to exercise and do the things he loved.

I will pray for your Mom, you, and your family. In a perfect world, she would have many more good years to enjoy her family and grandchildren, and I pray that this will be so.

Thanks for the link. A family friend from the midwest was telling us about that one, apparently it ranked really high. I think that's a great idea now having been suggested more than once.

Great idea.
Landon, I'm sorry to tell you that is pure quakary. Again, talK to the doctor. Our bodies do not change acidity, etcetera like an aquarium. You do not want to subject your mother to anything that is unnessesary.

It's possible that I'm acting out of desperation.
Yes. And that is what makes these things so downright evil. We went down this path last year. Still praying for all of you.

I did not offer alkaline water as a cure. I just said that for my sister's significant other's best friend, it extended his life by six months and made those remaining months more comfortable and active.

I, too, would be wary of painful, expensive cures that had no track record. But you can bring a 5 gallon jug to the health food store by us and the alkaline water (kangen water, I believe) costs only a dollar or two. It only has a shelf life of three days before losing its alkalinity, so I wouldn't buy more than I could use.

8 glasses of water a day is a good health idea for anyone, and spending $2 every 3 days for alkaline water is neither costly nor painful.

If it were painful or expensive, I wouldn't suggest it based on the good experience of one pancreatic cancer patient.

Well, my mom went to the ER tonight with a 103° temp and was admitted. She's been having radiation therapy and chemotherapy, and her immune system is shot, so I think she's got pneumonia.
