Help on kissing

to the OP, i would say just relax and let it happen, dont force it. and also just be very careful, kissing is something that is intimate and special and fun but also remember that it is something that can ignite fires within and be a major obstacle to your walk with christ. just be careful

Well, I havent kissed my boyfriend yet, and I can't wait until I do too

Im still not 100% sure if I want to wait till I am engaged or married or what. I always believed that I wanted to wait until at least engagement, but Im not entierly sure. He know's how I feel... and he probally wished it wasn't so, but I haven't totally made up my mind yet. I always said and believe that its a decision both people in the relationship should make. And honestly, its something I would like to talk to him about, and decide what we want to do, and set boundaries for ourselves. But Im not totally sure how to bring it up with him...
Seems kinda like a weird converstion to bring up yah know? "Hey, let talk about kissing" lol sounds kinda weird.
Im totally head over heals crazy for him, and he's just about the best thing that has happened to me in a very long time. And I really want to kiss him. But I want him to make the first move (of course) and I want to have some boundaries. (like no french kissing, or no making out, or anything like that.) BUt I would love a nice soft kiss on the lips or whatever...
Alright now Im getting all giggly... hahaha

But yah, how does one bring it up? Or should I wait for him to bring it up? (Which I would rather, but Im not too sure he would). And also I dont want to talk about it, and then the next time we see eachother, expect a kiss.... I want it to happen, naturally ya know?

I also have to admit that I want our first kiss to be super romantic. I donno something and somewheres we will both remember.

I can definitely empathise with the "super romantic" bit, Candice...but if that's clasified as a chick thing...

Danie and I have discussed the issue at great length, and I think we've established what the boundaries will be when that first "real" kiss comes around. I know that the moment that it happens will need to be appropriate and not just a spur of the moment "hey, let's just have a smooch for the fun of it" thing...because it's something that I'd like to remember and not regret. And that's why I think the best moment would be alone, but not somewhere where there'd be a risk of letting that kiss linger and inflame into anything that would jeopardise our purity.

I personally think a peck on the lips before engagement is fine, but making out is muy dangerous. If it causes a physiological response, you probably shouldn't be doing it. If there is a body response, you probably have crossed the line. "If you lust after a woman you have already committed adultery with her in your heart." (paraphrase) Just be careful, and don't stress about it. If she is a good lady she won't hold your lack of experience against you.
