CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's a pretty British sounding name, but that's just a first impression. If you want to trace her tree, I'd be glad to help you. Step #1 is to find out everything you can about her and every generation before her that living people can tell you. Then starting with the 1930 census, work backwards every 10 years to see where they lived, who lived with them, what the relationship of all the different people was, and where each person claimed to be born...and what year those who immigrated came to the US.
Once you have that, then we can start hitting certain databases and finding LDS records on these people. Once you get to the year of immigration to the US, then we can search passenger records and see if they got passports before leaving their homeland. If you can get the passport records, then you've got it made.
