So your daughter understands evolution but decided creation makes more sense? I'm interested to know if she has incorporated creationist concepts in her college papers.rainbowpromise said:All five of my kids were raised in public school and taught evolution. One child even went into college level science. All five decided that creation made more sense.

By all means have her come here and point out those discrepencies, I'm aiming for a Ph.D in biology and genetic science, she would save me a whole lot of money by proving it's all just bunkers.

They have been pointed out time and again, and even though the evos admit their error, they keep right on teaching the same discrepencies. According to talk origin: "Evolution -- is not a difficult concept, but very few people -- the majority of biologists included -- have a satisfactory grasp of it."caveatemptor said:point out those discrepencies,

To begin there is the difference between darwinism, neodarwinism and postneodarwinism. You have three different beliefs and theorys right there.Abongil said:They have not been pointed out, creos say they have but never actually state those errors.

Why don't you expose them to a bunch of different religious teachings and let them make up their own minds? Are you afraid your beliefs wouldn't hold up to critical scrutiny? If it is "true", wouldn't they select it?Pats said:You think it doesn't?
I wonder where there are more children, Sunday School or Public School?
Further more, what else are responsible parents to do but teach their children what they believe? Will you teach your children something other than what you believe to be true?
Yes, this is true. The drawback is that creationism/ID in school harms us as a country, making us a laughingstock and making us unable to compete in science and technology with other nations.Cathodox said:I can only hope that more religionists take this advice. It'll make it easier for my evolution-taught children to succeed in the world
And yet she ignores the discrepancies in creationism, such as plants existing before the sun?rainbowpromise said:Definately understood. She likes to rant about the discrepencies in the evolution theory.

Are you claiming that three different versions of evolution exist at the same time? Or do you really mean that the theory of evolution has changed since it was first proposed? Well, duh, of course it has.JohnR7 said:To begin there is the difference between darwinism, neodarwinism and postneodarwinism. You have three different beliefs and theorys right there.
