Ok, I'm doing a persuasive speech on why passionate kissing should be reserved for marriage. Any input I could get would be great Reasons, experiences, counter-arguments, whatever...

I can't understand why in the world this topic might have entered into your mind.

There are a lot of reasons I could give, but I'll leave it with this: there are (from my experience) more people who haven't waited and regret it than there are people who waited and regret it.

Given my audience is extremely secular, unfortunately Biblical arguments won't hold much weight for either side

Nothing wrong with it in my opinion if you have been with your partner for a while. But a counter-argument would be it could lead to other things which should be left for marriages.

My biggest reason is that I'm 28 and I haven't kissed a woman yet. I've decided that it's a gift that I'll save for only my wife.

Yes I am, and yes it is

I figure it'll be good for a secular audience to hear about something that's quite far from mainstream norms.... big change from the "everyone at college is out for sex" mentality.

Hahaha... I also figure this could be a starting point, giving them logical reasons other than "Because God said so." God only tells us to do things that are for our ultimate good in the end, so perhaps it would help that they see reasons for something that also "make sense" from a secular reasoning.

but for me, I guess the best reason is so you don't temp yourself into going further until marriage.

Ooo.... imagine the feelings of that first kiss at your wedding... imagine the tension gone ahead before to make it special.... Relate it to a suprise party, the feelings are somewhat more special than something that something you know the feeling of isn't it... So is kissing, if you dont' know the feeling, then it's gonna be more special.
