Help Me Find My Bible Verse!!

hey there everybody, I need some help!! I need some help finding a Bible verse that I have no clue where it is. Its about dancing, and thats all I know! Somebody preached about it in a sermon, and I dont knwo where they got it form, and I relaly want to know where it is, b/c Im all about dancing for the Lord!! so, if you know any whereabout of it, please tell me about it!

You can search for it in many versions at www.biblegateway.org. You will have to type in each variation of the word for a separate serach - i.e. search once for "dance" then again for "dancing," again for "dances," then "danced," etc.

Using www.blueletterbible.org you can search the King James version using a wildcard, so only one search using the keyword "danc*" should turn up all verses with any form of the word.

There is the passage where King David was dancing with all his might before the Lord, and his wife, Saul's daughter, saw all this leaping around and despised him in her heart ... 2 Samuel 6 ... I think.

Of course, there are many, many more verses on dancing. Better to do a search as Crazy Liz suggested above.

There is a certain denomination that teaches against sex because it might lead to dancing...

Seriously, it would help to know what the preacher was saying about dancing, positive or negative, in order to pinpoint the verse.

I have nothing against dancing, unless it's that form of pornographic, dry-humping that they do nowadays.
