A new poster, with a catholic icon is saying some very anti-Catholic and anit-Christian things and relating/contrasting Christ's work to Hitler in this thread:

I have not read through the entire OP as its formating makes it hard for me to read, but I have read some things that really concern me . . .

Those who are really good with history, I hope you wll go there and give the right perspective to counter what was said in the OP . .

This is not a thread to parallel another that exists somewhere where we can't debate . . but to bring to the attention of those who can help that their help is needed . .

If you don't feed it, it will go away. I can't think of a nice way of saying it other than that it reads as though the writer had skipped some medication.

Having sat on a duty desk receiving calls from "whackos" all over the world, I can honestly say I have heard stranger. I can also say that there are more people suffering from mental illness out there than we know. In my experience with those calls, it is better to put the phone down and do something else while they rant (or in some cases I tell them that their issue is one better referred to Secret Service - hehe). Eventually they stop calling (or call someone else).

Pray for him, he has some issues that nobody here can solve.

There's an identical post in the History forum. I've responded to it there. The poster apparently is a German Catholic, translating a book to English. However, since his response to my post was a feeble attempt to deflect attention from my points (namely that this is nothing but blasphemy in the first degree), I have to wonder just how 'Catholic' he really is.

I can't see any Catholic willingly translating something like this, regardless of how much money they're being paid. But then, not all Catholics are Catholics, are they?

Yeah . . I have asked him a few questions in the history thread as well . . waiting to see what his stance is on what he translated for someone else . .


I have a feeling this book isn't going anywhere fast . . .

If I had realized how many times he posted this garbage . . (at least 4 that I know of) and what he said in the history thread, I wouldn't have posted anything here . .

That translation is a joke, Theresa. It's pure baloney, a poorly disguised insult to Jesus and Christians.
