How do I delete the history of sites I visited on my computer. Please help me, thanks!

Yes, there's everything on there and I just want to clear it up, its annoying.

Take a look at CCleaner at http://www.ccleaner.com

It removes alot of junk on your pc, spend a little time looking over the options because it's quite configureable to your liking. Have used it for a while and really like it, usually run it once a day before shutting down the puter.

It depends on the type of explorer you use:

if you use Internet Exploer then select Internet Options from the Tools menu, then click the button Clear History.

if you use Firefox, select Clear Private Data from Tools menu, then check Browing history, finally click Clear Private Data Now

But rember, that will not clean up any registry entries (and there may be some depending on how you entered the site names). Now the programs like sweep might clean up the reg entries, not shure on that though.

I would also go under ‘tools’ in IE and reduce your history down to zero.

Try IE privacy keeper a free download that automatically deletes history. Go to google and type in IE privacy keeper for reference.
