There are "fortune tellers" (who have no fortune themselves by the way) that have the ability to hear spirits. The word of God calls this a "spirit of divination." This is how such a spirit works:
There are "familiar spirits" that follow us, knows things about us, and, if we're out of God's will, can "set us up" to get our faith off God and on the godless. So, when you went to the fortune teller, you got the spirit of divination she's sensitive to hearing around your tailgating familiar spirit. That's two spirits talking to each other about you. Once the spirit of divination gets the skinny he relays the same to the fortune teller who, in turn, spews out things about you that she/he has no way of knowing. Of course, you're fascinated and, sadly, sucked in. Which, of course, was the intent.
There is no timeline in the spiritual realm, so our future can be seen and relayed to the fortune teller. Of course, this is not 100% accurate, because salvation (and/or free will) can interrupt what is revealed. But, in your case, it's all happening and you are alarmed. You've been manipulated into an ordeal that is highly deceptive and evil and the question is why? What is so important about you? The way you're being worked says that God has a great plan for your life and the enemy doesn't want you to know it.
It also says that you are not spending enough time reading God's word. Gospels of Luke and John, Ephasians especially, as well as all the books in the New Testament, you should be reading several verses or a chapter a day, attend Bible studies and church regularly and surround yourself with Christian friends and acquaintances. Yes, this takes time, but you want to start the process. The same is also what Lord Jesus commands for our lives.
Now you noted that you are co-dependant on a flesh and blood man, who is not your husband yet. It could be that you (unknowingly) have made him your god. Worse, it doesn't sound like you two have much of a spiritual connection, yet you are planning to walk into a marriage with someone based on a fortune teller's prediction. You've given a lot of thought to this fortune teller, and it is her words that are alive in your head. And you fear it. And to fear it says you have faith in it. God's word will pull your faith to the place it should be, if you diligently read and feed upon it.
Lord Jesus says, "If you continue in my word then you are my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall MAKE you free," John 8:32 KJV. In other words, no lie or deception can withstand God's word.
Throughout this process you want to pray and you want people praying for you. Ask them each week to keep them praying so they won't forget, and trust that a breakthrough will come. And stop letting the enemy play you about something God forgave you for when you asked Him the first time.
God bless you,
The Guide
