Well if you have magic, then you probably want to have people who serve good gods and bad gods.
It could be that people worship gods that show men new technology for the future or something.
Any number of possibilities. Look at planet earth for goodness sakes. Religion will be easy one to create.
Political problems could be easy also. There could be some that oppose magic and seek to eliminate it completely. Keeping technology(science) and Magic (mysticism) seperate. There could be those opposed to universe discovery or those opposed to polluting the moons. Politics should be easy also.
You probably should have a story of how the earth was created and maybe incorporate the gods into it. Maybe they were all joined together at one time to create a universal world for there creations to inhabit, but once created, there was war over territories that split the gods apart and caused war in the heavens and war in the universe.

Yes, I'll have to think about this... I'm liking how this is turning out...it could be a very in depth and rich world. Perhaps we should start at the basics then - and write out how the world was created. Awesome ideas, Flames. Thanks bro'.

Alright fella's - here's what we have so far... a pretty solid base on how the magic system works, and how technology works. We have a couple names of some places and have pointed out that we could use some political and religious stryfe. Any ideas on what we can do for a religion? Perhaps those that worship Gerini... or perhaps do the polytheistic approach and have a lot of gods....

- Also, we're gonna need some help with Geographic Locations and such; i.e. places in relation to other places.
I'm thinking that the boundaries for countries are very big... perhaps maybe even like 3-4 countries total... however, a lot of little sub-populaces.

What about magical items bound from beast souls?And there should be soul gems to use on creatures as so you can catch their souls and use for enchantment on items to make them be stronger. and there should be alots of magical stuff thats enchanted around the world and one magical item preferably a sword be the most powerful.

Hmmm...interesting. I'm not sure about so much magic though. - that would mean that everyone would be a magic-powerhouse... however, that still may be doable. I'll have to let this marinate in me-head. : P
