Anyone seen this anime series (I guess it's a series, but you can buy the whole thing on DVD)

I thought it was rather good - you don't see many animes set in England.

It's good, but the story wasn't told all that good I heard that there's a second series coming out!!!

I thought it was good, but it didn't explain enough of what the heck was going on half the time - or why and that's what made it seem really spotty to me. I hope they cover more in the second series - let me know if you hear anything more about it

Made a sharp left turn from the Manga at the Incognito arc, which is usually a bad sign, but the early episodes were sheer brilliance. The later ones are still good, but not quite as good.

Oh yeah, for those who get offended easily: WARNING - contains strong language, violence, and vampires.

I am hoping for a second series... maybe they'll do something with police-girl's plot line. And I'd like to see the Hellsing house rise again.

I think she had a bigger part in the Manga, which I need to track down. I WANT the second series BAD.

I think it was explain rather well honestly. I may another anime that need to be carefully watched in order to get the whoel thing. Yeah you have to make sense of the show. It gets annoying after a while.

I liked it... but they should have stuck to the manga. No point in waiting to the last eps to tell why Alucard actually obeys orders when in the manga they pretty much reveal it in the beginning (makes a lot more sense that way). The first eps where really good and then it sorta declined. Didn't like the final battle that much either (although there were some really cool scenes). Still hope they make a second season with 26 eps this time and keep it excellent all the way through

Oh, and a few points that I really liked about this series were a) the REALLY big guns and b) the fact that there wasn't even a hint of any kind of romantic realtionship between any of the main characters whatsoever (not that I hate romances in anime or anything but it's nice that they don't have to put them everywhere)

This anime is awsome, Its one that i actually watch over again.

and i Thought the dubbing was ACTUALLY GOOD, but still not better than Subs.

Okay - yeah : why does Alucard obey orders? Just because he was imprisoned in the house and Integra let him out and was all prideful and stern with him???

I think the reason the anime diverged from the manga was because there wasn't enough material at the time (they'd already caught up to the manga), which is usually the reason animes diverge from the manga anyway.
