We're getting almost no Prog input at all in the discussion! The Trads are flocking in there and trying to push through rules that will feed thier agenda!

Why are there almost no Progs posting in that thread?!

Look, DL is trying to wreck the D&D area by making it against the rules to speak out against EGW:

Direct statements, loaded or rhetorical questions are not permitted to deny the prophetic gift and the inspiration of Ellen White's writings.

Do you guys want this nonsense imposed in the D&D area?! Then get in there and FIGHT AGAINST IT.

And again I ask, who decides what a 'personal attack' is? Don't you see what a quagmire you are setting yourselves up for here? The Trads will abuse this to the nines GUARANTEED! Even simply saying you disagree with EGW and do not consider her a prophet will be considered ATTACKING to them.

This addition is garbage. It is ripe for abuse and CENSORSHIP. It is just DL's attempts to make D&D an EGW apologist area. Why are you mods even considering this!?

Sorry, my understanding of the SDA message is JUST FINE. I just don't agree with everything. I take complete offense to this subtle slam against us and the implicaitons it carries.

The rule should be re-worded this way:

This whole thing may just be tweaking some rules to the mods in there, but we in here know better. This is a WAR for this forum. Are you guys going to fold and just hand it over to them?

All the 'hoopla' TRAD/PROG rules, amendments, adjustments, control, voting, wiki, mods, new mods, petitions, backdoor discussions, etc., etc., on and on...and on...never ending (maybe this is the everlasting hell!)...

...is just so trivial. Why do powerplays need to take place here at all? Why the constant focus on making rules, adjusting rules, remaking rules, having 'our' mods in power, excluding this group or that group, adjusting the rules again............................................and on and on?

Some perspective would be good here. There are over 6 billion people living on our globe right now and if you added up everyone who has ever made even one post on the CF SDA forum it would amount to...

...you get the picture. What exactly is being 'protected'? And from what is 'IT' being protected?

In my opinion most of what is discussed here, no matter how sincerely and passionately, is much-ado-about-nothing. "As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died."

It's ALWAYS about Jesus! That is worth speaking up for. The rest is foolishness.

Night I appreciate your passion to keep a place carved out for you to express yourself here, but as I have stated before, I have neither the desire nor the inclination to continue spending time in contrived dialog with people who do not value me or treat me with respect... I have been here off and on since 05 and the atmosphere remains toxic.... of course some would suggest that I add to the state of things, however I do recall that even when I took a break nothing changed...

So while I get where you are coming from Night, I am not feeling this one.....

The addition is all but passed because there is next to no one in here besides me FIGHTING IT. The Trads have overtaken this thread and they are going to ramrod DL's rule through because there is next to NO opposition.

Do you want to be able to debate about EGW issues such as plagiarism and her prophetic status? Well that is all going to be HISTORY if you don't do something!
