  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Wow it's been a long time since I used a forum. I used to be on them all the time in my early teens. haha Anyway, I wanted to give this forum a try so I could connect with other Christians online since I'm not meeting as many people in person.

I'm from California and have been a believer my whole life. In the last 6 years or so though I really started taking my faith seriously and got into ministry work as well. I believe knowing the Word of God is so important to a life of faith and I have seen how God's Word has worked wonders in my heart and mind. One of my goals in my faith is to encourage other believers to be more in the Word too!

Besides that I love movies, books, food and traveling. I hope I can connect with believers here socially and spiritually! Please don't hesitate to say hi. :)
