  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

To answer your question.

The definition of Worthy just means: Honest,Respectable,Decent,Law Abiding,Up right,Virtuous, ect ect

So your questions is in real context is :What makes a christian Honest,Respectable,Decent,Law Abiding,Up Right,Virtuous, saintly, ect.

My answer: Believing in Christ as your saviour,be baptized. Letting the Holy Spirit Guide you in all your ways, and heading the instructions,Reverence the Father, spread the gospel. Pray and read your bible, ect ect. Does that answer your question?
I see now how ambiguous my "simple" question was. Thank you for answering.

I think I already acknowledged that your question was simple.

But in order to answer it correctly I put the "simple" question in context. Words mean a lot and so does the definition of that word.

Your welcome!

You also called it "loaded" which is complex, not simple, by definition.

That's one point of view.
‘I meant by “impenetrability” that we’ve had enough of that subject, and it would be just as well if you’d mention what you mean to do next, as I suppose you don’t mean to stop here all the rest of your life.’

‘That’s a great deal to make one word mean,’ Alice said in a thoughtful tone.

‘When I make a word do a lot of work like that,’ said Humpty Dumpty, ‘I always pay it extra.’

‘Oh!’ said Alice. She was too much puzzled to make any other remark.

‘Ah, you should see ’em come round me of a Saturday night,’ Humpty Dumpty went on, wagging his head gravely from side to side: ‘for to get their wages, you know.’

This is the New Member Introduction forum. Do we want to say hello and welcome them or do we want to badger them, with difficulties over nothing, until they leave, never to return?

You're welcome Bluejay. Remember, you're never obligated to answer anyone's question or reply to anyone's post, and if a situation gets to be too much, if you click on a person's name, under their avatar, there is an 'Ignore' button/link in there, that you can click and you won't be bothered by that person again.
