• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Nice to meet you all!

I was going to just call myself "I'm not joking," but then I saw that you have a more diverse group of forum categories than I'm used to.

I do have a sense of humor, but Christianity is very serious to me. I have OCD, which effects my ability to make decisions and trust my judgments. I might at times ask a question that might seem silly, but if it's about Christianity, I am definitely not joking.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

That's just a label, I think you can trust your judgments errr I mean discernments.

Discerning leads to right judgments.. You sound nice.

The ability to not be able to make good judgements reminds me of a situation that isn't related to the same personal problem, but is more related to a national problem.

God placed the land of Israel in the midst of criminals, they're surrounded by criminals that attack them all the time. Everytime these criminals attack Israel, Israel is forced to make hard decisions, and they attack them back, in the name of justice. Every time Israel attacks someone, it is always in the name of justice (Polite murders, sort of)

This "polite killing" that Israel is commiting, is signalling to the world that there are ways to kill people in polite manners, and with this "constant message" given to the world that there are ways to kill people in the name of righteousness, it teaches the remaining world to also wage war. It teaches the world (subconsciously) that war is good.

It's as if someone is benefitting from it. To place Israel right there in the middle of the criminals, would eternally spark global war in a miracoulous way. And in all wars there are rapes. Who would want all these wars going, it's a mystery.

It's as if Israel sits there as a secret "magnet" to tempt countries into war, and because Israel's enemies will never stop attacking Israel, this temptation seems to have to last forever. I don't know who put Israel there.

The one who created Israel as a extremely tiny country, every time they killed their enemies, everyone had sympathy with Israel because it was such a tremendously small country, and everyone felt for Israel, I don't know why this tiny country is triggering the sympathy, which keeps it going. And especially because of the holocaust will everyone sympathize with this secret "war magnet", and nobody will ever attack it, in an ingenious way.

By the way, I prayed to Jesus yesterday and I saw him running marathon, it was a bizarre vision I had.

As I understand it, God didn't WANT Israel to be in the midst of criminals, and told the Jews to remove them. They just didn't do it the way he wanted them to, despite giving explicit instructions.

Thank you all for welcoming me!

Hi and welcome!

This is the place to introduce yourself and perhaps also find links to where you can have those conversations of beliefs!

Hello-16.gif

Welcome to ChristianForums.com Please make note of your screen name and password somewhere IRL right now, so it will be easy to return to us!

If you have any prayer requests, you may post them HERE and an Angel will be sure to pray.

If you have a question, even a private one for the Chaplain, you may post it HERE in Ask a Chaplain

Our site HELP link is at the top of the task bar/index page.

We're pretty straight-forward here...be nice and expect others to be likewise. If you have any issues, you may always contact a Moderator. (There's a column of "Staff Online Now" to the right of the index page.)

I pray you will find what you need and are looking for here...and if that is Jesus, let us help you further.

Again, welcome!
Jean
