Welcome George! I know a few Palestinian Christians. You all are in my prayers.
A Palestinian friend of mine from Bethlehem recently died of cancer. He went to my parish when he was in the US for school. After he was diagnosed he had trouble from Israel being allowed to leave so he could get treatment in Germany. It was too late by the time he got there.

You need a quick geography lesson though, Haifa is in Israel and there is no such country as Palestine...that's what the ongoing negotiations are about to see if the Israelis and Palestinian Arabs can come to an agreement and from it a country called Palestine might emerge. Prior to 1948 what was called Palestine was the last vestiges of an Ottoman province, it has never been a sovereign State.
