  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Wow, I missed a lot over the past few days! New forums popping up all over the place!

Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself. I'm a young widow (21 years old) and am raising my 17 month old daughter (see avatar!).

I think this forum was a GREAT idea. It's going to be very nice to be able to touch base with others in similar situations!

Hello Manna, your daughter is so beautiful!!!!! I have a 14 month old grandson. I just love baby's. You were so young to have such heartache, big hug's to you. I'm so glad you are here to talk to us and share. It really does help to have other's who care. God bless you and your precious baby.

Last week marked a year since Eric died. It's been a very interesting year! Many lows, many highs, but God has blessed us through and through...we're doing very well!

What about you guys? If you don't mind my asking, how long have you been without your spouses?
