Hello from the southeastern US. I am glad that I found this board, and I want to introduce myself. At the age of 39, I have finally answered the call to full-time pastoral ministry. I have 3 core values:

1. We are all wonderfully and amazingly made by God.
2. God has a unique plan for each of us -- He created each of us for a specific ministry.
3. God expects us to discover, devleop, and live out our God-given design.

I was originally called to the ministry when I was 16 years old, but I acted like Jonah and ran towards Tarsus when God wanted me to go to Ninevah. I have spent the majority of my life running away from God, but now I finally know the peace that comes with following God's plan. I hope to enter seminary this Fall. This is a step of faith, because I am married with a young son. But I know that God has called me, so He will provide. I ask for prayers.

I am looking forward to many great discussions and fellowship on this board.

I pray that the Lord richly blesses Mark for getting back on track to where He called him years ago. Only You Lord, can guide his path in wisdom and in truth. Only You alone know the plans You have in store for him. We praise You for the work You are doing. In Jesus name. Amen!
