In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello, friends. My name is CMDR Exorcist and I've actually been a member of the forums for over a decade, but took quite an extended break to focus on raising my family. Plus, I don't think I ever did one of these threads before...

These days, I'm trying to distance myself from the curse of social media these days and immerse myself more in my studies and in communicating with other Christians. I look forward to reading and interacting with you all.

Hard to keep up with it all. We don't have high speed internet available and have to travel into town to use local wireless a couple times of week. This is one of those days.

I do have a question for you; do you like music--Praise & Worship music?

I have found; in times of trouble; like we have with this CV-19; that listening to; and singing along to good Christian P&W music; can bring us closer to Jesus and His wonderful peace.
