about 3 months ago, i was raped by a close friend. i'm not gonna go into graphic detail, because obv. its hard for me to deal with still.



so, he got me prgnant and im obv not going to hav an abortin, thats murder. but i was wundering if i have to marry him now? i'm v confused a nd in need of help plz

This is only my opinion, but I shouldn't think you ought to be obliged to marry him unless that is what you both want. I don't think it would exactly be a good start for a marriage.
Could you perhaps get the advice of a church minister - maybe a femalre one, or maybe a Christian counseller?

Sorry that you are faced with such a tough set of circumtances.

There is no reason, biblical or otherwise, that you have to marry this person. The obvious felings that you have about what has been done to you would make a relationship very difficult.

I do commend you for making the choice to think of the child over what might be easiest for you.

I would hope that you have family that may be willing to help if you wish to raise the child but adoption is an option if thatis not the case. With private adoptions other parents that would like children and cannot have them will help with the expenses that you will incur and assure that the baby will have all that it needs now and in the future.

Oh my goodness! Well, I should definitely get proper advice. Is he normally like that - would he be a danger to you or your baby? If so, it prob would def, not be a good idea to marry him. Does he want to marry you?
Sorry, I realise it's a very sensitive issue, so I don't want to ask to many personal questions or upset you.
