I'm a Catholic teenager. (kinda.) I am Catholic, but I often doubt church teachings and don't agree with what the church says. I also have ideas which would be called "heretical" should I say them at church.
(Glad it's past the days when I would be burned at the stake for such speech! hahah... heh. not actually funny on second thought just sad)
Anyway, I am joining mostly for debate. Though I am Christian, attend Mass almost every Sunday, go to BigTYME (meets every Wednesday to learn about Catholicism), etc., I mostly disagree with many modern forms of "applied" Christianity. That is, I'm communist, think gay marriage is great, think homosexuality is fine in general (i.e., have no problems with it, don't really consider it to mean much), think women should be able to be priests, think abortion is okay in many situations, and don't contraceptives are bad. I also disagree with many Christians in that I don't believe in any form of Intelligent Design. Big bang, Earth cools, macromolecules and evolution, animals, us. No god involved in the evolution process, maybe a god involved in the creation of the universe. Or not.
Yeah. That's a lot of disagreement points.
So I hope it's okay and people will be fine with debates without hating and flaming?
