CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Howdy. Occasionally here. My schedule just keeps getting busier. In a few weeks I will be serving a vacancy (~300 miles away) as well as continuing to work full time. So I will be here less.

I agree with you about not replying to everything....I havent gotten the chance yet to compare Macarthur's teachings to the Lutheran beliefs, but I am trying not to rely so much on the study notes in my Bible and focus more on Scripture defining Scripture. It obviously takes longer, but having God's Word define God's Word is much more glorious!!

That is a huge step forward in your spiritual growth.
Oh, that others would follow your example. When I teach Bible class, people initially think I am supposed to be the "Bible Answer Man" where they can come up with any question, and I will spout out the answer. Doesn't work that way. I lead them through questions, so that eventually they begin doing exactly as you are doing.This is great news! Blessings on your study!!!

This time of year is busy anyway, but add to that the fact that business is crazier than it's been in more than 6 months, posting here loses priority. Things will slow down eventually.

I have been busy at work. I am surprised that I have posted as often as I have given the volumes of frieght this past week. Anyone want to know how many crated snowmobiles can go double stacked in a fifty three foot trailer?
