i consider myself quiverful although my husband has misgivings. we currently have 7 children (g8, b5, b4, g3, b2, g2, b2).
our oldest 4 children are adopted, we have biological twins and currently also have a foster child who is 2. God has blessed us with children in so many ways and i hope he continues to bless us with more. due to several problems with my body, we can not conceive children the "normal way" which has been a source of constant pain in my life. i guess i have come to peace with the fact that God has decided how he will grow our family, although perhaps through unconventional means. i am looking forward to the next child that the Lord will bring our way.
to speak on the rude comments...my husband and i are both 33 (young, although i do not feel young anymore) and we both have young faces (i just recently got mistaken for a 14 year old :o) and although most of our children look like us (white with brown/blond hair and blue eyes) we have 2 who are biracial. i can totally relate and agree that people can be very rude. if i had a dollar for every time someone said something i would be rich by now.
i pray for all of you as you seek what Gods best is for your life.
