Hi Gang!
I totally forgot I even had this account. I have not been here in years. I just happened to check my old yahoo e-mail account and I came over.
My last posting was in 2005. My goodness, that was a long time ago.
Much has changed since then; especially in my life.
I guess I will share it with you.
In 2006, I parted ways with the IFB movement; too many people not living with they preach in them circles. I'm still a KJV man. But, I've got a totally different outlook on all that.
Last church I was in, some stuff happened and it was not in line with the Word of God. See Matthew 18:15-17. (Go and TELL is the keyword there.) I left in peace; some really other ugly stuff happened too. I'll just say, I learned quite a bit about how IFB'ers can be --- the hard way. As usual.
I'm not bitter about it; God will deal with those people, all of 'em.
I came out of Pentecostalism, went back into the IFB world, thinking it was a bit smarter, and doctrinally right; and it should be. Problem is, the people are not what they should be. It happens in all circles.
Nowadays, I am a Conservative Blogger --- and you can look at that venture by looking here. I started in 2006, after I left the last IFB Church I was in. I started, ironically in 2006, as a left of center blogger. I was angry at Bush, Angry about Iraq, which at that time had turned into a meat grinder. As I went along though, I began to see that I had nothing in common with the left, except for my disdain of Bush and Co.
So, on December 28 of 2007, my blog, which was called the Populist; was hacked and I started over, again. This time as a centrist Blogger. I quickly began to see that me and the Democratic Party were not on the same page. As Ronnie Reagan said, "I didn't leave that Party, they left me...) I selected "Republican" in my bio. But I am simply a Conservative. More fiscal, and more of a Pat Buchanan type. I do, however, support Israel.
It's good to be back. I'll be lurking. I'll put the board in my favorites again.
Blessings to all.
