I've already made one post here but I thought I would formally say hello.

My name is Jasan and I am from Australia. I write children's adventure gamebooks (specifically trying to target the Christian market due to the genre being practically empty in Christian circles but not limiting myself to only that) and will have my first book published later this year.

Adventure gamebooks work like the Choose Your Own Adventure books that people may be familiar with. (mine are a little more advanced than CYOA in that mine include a dice element).

I like LOTR and C.S.Lewis' Narnia and I enjoyed reading the Left Behind series as well.

Hi, dominicgaj! Your book sounds very interesting. Does it contain fantasy elements, or is it straight adventure? Also, what age children are you targeting? The last choose your way YA adventure book I read [I don't recall the title or author] was actually set in Australia. It was quite fascinating right up to the end, which turned out to be disappointingly trite and preachy. I hope your book does really well!

I've never written for children, and I admire anyone who can do so effectively. I share your love of C.S. Lewis--(now there was someone who could write for children...of all ages!) and I'll pray for your writing ministry.

The story is anthropomorphic (talking animals) with one human character (the Christlike character of the story). It isn't a fantasy series (although I'm working another series that will be fantasy and will be for older readers 10-14 y.o approx.) I would classify it as an adventure story. The target age for this first series is 8-12 y.o. Thanks for your encouragement. You can read more about it on my website if you wish. Thank you Michael, much appreciated. I have a long-term dream to run a Christian Writing House that produces Adventure gamebooks for children of different ages, teaching them about the ways of Jesus Christ, covering different writing genres. I can only write adventure/fantasy. I would love to have a team of writers that can cover the other genres (teen issues/sci-fi/mystery etc) but to have the books written in the gamebook style. Maybe they can then be released in other forms of media (computer games/television/cinema) etc

The release of my first book later this year will be the first (small) step in achieving this dream. This is what I believe the Lord has put me on this earth for (looking at it from 'The Great Commission' point of view).
