  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi I'm Lisa, 22 years old and an American currently studying and living in England. :pink: I'm studying Religious Studies and Theology, and was brought up in a fundamentalist 'non-denominational in the American sense' tradition, but became a liberal after attending a Mennonite College, and after a few months in the UK have become agnostic, or at least confused!:confused:

I'd be interested to hear from any of you!

My wife and I have a Christian Music Ministry and we have a web site: www.samscales.com My wife has written all original rock and roll music based on scripture and relating to her past before we met. She is writing a bible study on each of her songs . She will have a new one each month and maybe additional ones inbetween. Take a look at the sight ..
Oh by the way we are wanting to make a trip to Europe and need contacts over there..
