Hello, I'm new!

Hi all! I'm new to CF, and also fairly new to my church. We attend the Church of the Nazarene in my town and we are absolutely crazy about it! We will be becoming members soon and I am wanting to learn as much as I can about the chuch. I think I'll be spending a lot of time in this part of the forum for that reason. I am new to the message board phenomenon, so please bear with me and feel free to let me know if I do anything un-n'etiquette.

Hi Rachael (and everyone) Welcome to CF! Although, I have to say that I'm fairly new here too (less than a week, I think.) I wasn't quite sure where to post introductions within this part of the forums...so thanks for doing that, lol!

My husband and I attend a small United Methodist church in our area. He is the Sunday school superintendent there. I chose my denominational icon to be just 'Christian' rather than 'Methodist' or 'Wesleyan' because I prefer to call myself a Christian. (I am a follower of Christ, not of John Wesley! But the more I learn, the more I find myself agreeing with him...)

Can't wait to start looking around here some more!

we just started going to a Nazarene church a few months ago. I LOVE IT! Everyone is so kind, sweet and welcoming. Ive had bags of baby clothes sent to me from the church woman and since i am now on bedrest they are now bringing meals over to us on mon, wed and fridays!! Such wonderful people. i still dont know everything about the denominational beliefs, but i love everything i have read about John Wesley and his writings. (i worked as secretary and youth leader at a methodist church for 3 yrs.. a few yrs back). Anyways..stick around, ask questions, fellowship. Wesleys parish has some really friendly people here on CF....and check out our ASA fellowship thread to get to know us better too! huggs.
