  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello, I have a question about chord progressions...for Piano...

For example if i am playing in my right hand:
1/I 4/IV 5/V
Cmaj/Fmaj/Gmaj

What notes in my left hand
or chords can I use to accompany my
chord progression below:
1/I 4/IV 5/V
Cmaj/Fmaj/Gmaj

Or vice versa...

I usually play the root of the chord for the bass note - in this example, C,F and G. I also tend to play those roots in an octive (thumb and little finger both playing the same note an octive apart), but that's mainly because I'm fairly lazy and don't play very well with my left hand.

Hi Bro, Greetings to you in Jesus Name. There are varieties of left hand combinations that you can use to accompany your C Major -- F Major --- G Major Chords. This depends on what the melody of the song also requires and what your ear finally perceive to be the best choice. However, Just to mention a few here :

1. C /C Major --- F / F Major ---- G / G Major

2. E / C Major --- D / F Major ---- G / G Major

3. C/ C Major --- D / F Major ---- G / F Major .

These ones serves different purposes and different applications also.

I can share with you a lot more valuable resources that can help you in this subject matter. You can add me on facebook as : Adelaja Ayokunle

God Bless
