• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

    If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

    If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together.   • Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private.   • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thank you ladies and thank you God. It looks like all the prayers that have come way have been answered because my husband just won a contest at work today and got 100.00 and he got commission which adds an unexpected 700.00 to his check this Friday! Thank you all so much. Also, I have a paid job training this Thursday and Friday and now I will have gas to get there! :) Thank you heavenly father for your blessings.

I know what you are going through because I've been through it myself and let me tell you I know the Lord is faithful. Stand firm and start praising because will come through. Lord Jesus, I ask you to provide for this family. I just cry out to you on their behalf. Amen.

God has blessed us once again! I just got two gift cards in the mail from a stranger online who wanted to help us. One was a gas card the other a grocery card!! What wonderful generousity! And today a woman gave me a mega pack of diapers and wipes!! So very kind! Thank you everyone for your prayers and thank you Lord for helping us through this tough time.

Thank you so much for your unconditional love everyone you are helping me to find my way back to God I think I have been so lost. I always considered myself devoted to God and to be a Catholic but I don't always do the things that I should as a follower of God I have just been so lost for so long and I want to try and do good by God and make him proud he has done so much for me unconditional I want to try and be a better follower of God's so I am going to try harder then I did before.
You have all touched me so much here and the short time I have been on the board. Thank you everyone for your unconditional support and devotion.
