I rarely give introduction so this is something of an exception,as it will let people know where I am coming from in my posts and answers.
I am a lifelong Anglican from the liberal wing of the church. I have recently discovered that a majority of my fathers family since the early 1700's were leading members of the Non Subscribing Presbyterian church in Ireland, these are perhaps more easily understood as Christian Unitarians. and are unique to Ireland. The NSPC subscribe to no dogma. a feature that I am inclined to follow myself. On other forums I have described myself as an Anglican Heretic.
I am of the opinion that sin is best described as actions that harm others and all creation, and not just a list found by mining the Bible.
On the positive side of the Equation, God is love, and we are required to Love God, our fellow men and all creation. With perhaps the Beatitudes as the most relevant example of this.
I am not... a new earther... creationist.... supporter of Sola Scriptura...
I support any one who believes they are a Christian, and follows the teachings of Jesus
I believe all men not just Christians will eventually reside with God.
I will probably get up a few peoples noses............
