Hello from someone who found their faith in the UK!

Hi!

My name is Madeleine and I am from the UK.
As a bit of an explanation for my reason for joining... my parents weren't overly Christian although my late mother did believe in God but she wasn't practising.
I have had a bit of a messy past in places and pray for forgiveness for former sins.
I have recently found my faith and started reading the Bible. However, I have no friends or family who respect religion and the Christian faith. They aren't derogatory... but they're just very modern and unsupportive. My husband isn't a religious person either and I am currently trying to find the best way to approach telling him that I would like to attend church.
Due to this, I have many questions about faith and need some fellow Christians just to chat with
Unfortunately my local Alpha group is on a weekday when I work so hoping to find some answers another way.

My husband was not a churchgoer but once I became involved he made sure I was able to attend Church Services regularly - yours may surprise you
