I only intended to "stick my toe in the water", but something came over me and I registered right away.
By way of introduction,I'd like to explain how I came to be here, if I may.
Although I was brought up in a Chistian household, I fell away from my faith in my youth... we've all heared that story, no need for details. I stopped short of ever calling myself an Atheist, I was at times Agnostic, Pagen, Buddist or just plain confused. At this point, almost all of my friends who are not staunch Atheists are somewhat anti-Christian, a position that I have often argued against, citing an individuals right to belive what they will, solong as it hurts no-one else.
A few years ago, My dad gave me a copy of 'The Screwtape Letters' and it started me on my way back to my faith. The image of this comical demon actualy in my head, twisting my thoughts by re-directing electrons struck such a nerve with me! It just seemed to make so much sense.
Since then I've been inching my way back. It's been real slow going, but I think this is to important to rush into, and risk being scared off again.
from the looks of it, though, I think this might be a good place to find people who think the way I do.

IT seems as though I am hearing about ppl losing the faith on a regular basis these days and it just hurst me so much inside!
It only means that I am going to have to pray harder and do all I can to reach as many ppl as I can. Does your wife pray for you? If she is in the faith I will help her. God bless you both.
