  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hello everyone.
I found this site while searching for Children's Church Ideas.
I am a Canadian, but am living and working in the United Arab Emirates. Since moving here 16 months ago, I have become involved in the church any way I could. i am the Children's Church Coordinator, on the SALT (Single Adults Living Triumphantly) Leadership Team, AWANA Leader, and several bible studies.
I find it interesting being a christian in a muslem country. We defanetly are limited in the witnessing we can do.
Our church is very international, with over 400 members from over 30 countries. Its a blast

So, I look forrward to meeting some of you in the future.

I have much contact with locals (UAE Nationals), and non local non christian. I have been asked questions about my religion, and have had some discussions, but never felt any animosity from anyone.
Hey, thanks for all the prayers, in my experiance, they are never a waste of time.
