Hello from southern California.
My name is Sam. I will be turning 38 this year. I attended church from birth, but I became a Christian in 1996 when I was a high school student.
I was born and raised in the United States. I am Korean-American/Asian-American.
Most of the churches that I have attended were Korean churches (Korean churches that have English ministries for second-generation Korean-Americans).
Most of the churches that I have attended were also Korean Presbyterian churches.
I briefly attended a mostly Caucasian United Methodist Church....I really enjoyed the worship services at that UMC church....but my parents don't want to me to attend American/Caucasian churches because they think that I will "connect better" with people from the same ethnic background (Korean).
Currently, I attend the largest Korean church in my county. My church is a mega-church with at least 4,000 members.
Although there were 3 times in my life when the Bible was as sweet as honey, I feel that the Bible is boring...most of the time.
I hope to find Christian community here
