Greetings. I followed a link from Philosophia Christi. This looks like a good site. I'll probably just "lurk" for a time before I jump into discussions.

A few words about myself. I'm a wife, mom and grandmom. But most importly, I am a follower of Jesus. I was raised in a Christian home, but it's only been in the last 5 or 6 years that I've really gotten serious about coming to know the Lord.

It's fairly cool here in the cool pines of Yavapai County! I was in Phoenix last night for the D'backs game. The temperature was 108 at game time (630) and a "cool" 88 degrees in the BOB. As we were leaving after the game it was 98--at 1030 at night! (and my kids don't understand why I don't want to move down there to be close to them!)

when your shoe starts melting to the sidewalk while your walking...IT'S TOO HOT!!!! .i'll stay in extreme northern az myself, thank you.

I will switch houses with someone
I will move up north, and one of you can have my house here in Phoenix, where I think its supposed to hit record highs today of either 113 or 116, really whats the difference though, past 100 it all feels the same to me!
My husband who works outside though, begs to differ with me, he can almost tell what the temp is outside without looking at the thermometer, now thats talent
