Hello, my name is Huey. I am a former non-denominational turned agnostic. Recently I have felt a desire to return to christian life.
At this time, I am looking for guidance with scripture and knowlege of the faith.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Welcome! Meditate on this verse:

Romans 14:3
New Living Translation (NLT)
3 Those who feel free to eat anything must not look down on those who don’t. And those who don’t eat certain foods must not condemn those who do, for God has accepted them.

Thank you all.
I have one large question now. What, if any, is the proper way to pray. I have always believed all real prayers are heard no matter how they are made, but since i have begun moving back into the faith I have had a desire to kneel for my prayers , honestly I have been reluctant to pray as much as I want due to my otwn resistance to kneel. I just want to know if I should of always knelt during prayers , or due to my leaving of the faith I am being called to kneel as a sign of my submission.

Thank you again.

There is no sacred physical position that one needs to be in, to be able to pray. God is more interested in the condition of the heart than He is the position of the body. Christ’s instruction for prayer is in Matthew 6:5-14. If you want to be on your knees, on your face lying on the ground, or praying with your arms and hands raised toward heaven, whatever position you personally feel you need to be in, is just fine with God.

Kneeling is not a command, but submitting yourself to God is. If you don't want to kneel then maybe you should.

Baptism is a critical part of the Christian faith. Only get baptized if you want to be a follower of Christ.
