Hello everyone, new person here!

I figured I would join the website and forums in order to get a better understanding on Christianity. As an agnostic, I struggle with the many ideas and beliefs presented in the Bible. Yet, I do feel this pull at times to being a Christian.

When I was younger, around 14, I was pressured into being saved at my local First Baptist, so I didnt really believe I was saved. Next, my church basically split at a "church business meeting" right in front of my eyes in a very mean fashion.

Craziness.

So I drank a lot in high school but now im doing good and about to graduate college in less than a year, and im basically trying to find my place in life, and its stressing and upsetting.

So...... Good to be here.

Our old church ruined our kids too. I will not forgive their meanness and what they did to the families for a very long time. I sometimes wonder at all where is the Christianity in churches. So I feel very much like you have stated.... and it does much harm when a church behaves like that.
