It has been a very long time. I recognized a few folks who were here when I was here before, I saw a post by Winter, it is good to see your name again my friend.

I fell away from Christianity which is probably why I left. I am a follower of Christ again so I came back. I actually do not suffer from depression anymore, I don't know if it was just a bad patch in my life I was going through then or what the cause was, but I have been freed of it. I want to be here though for anyone who needs to talk, and to say hello to old friends.

I see that my old friends AFlower and LadyBug are still posters, and Winter. Does Sister Joanna still post? I saw her perennial "how are you feeling" post which is still up after such a long time which reminded me of her.

I am reminded of the quote I think from "Tale of Two Cities" - "it was the best of times, it was the worst of times." It was bad because we were all suffering, but it was good because we had each other.

Praying that all God's children here get relief from their distress.

So good to hear you are back brother, I did pray God would heal your heart. How is your mother? Great your depression is gone at least that horrible spell of bad life is behind you.

Hi Gerry, thanks for asking about my mom. She is fine, she has senile dementia of course but she seems pretty happy and in good health nevertheless and the place that is taking care of her is great. I hope you and your family are also well and that you are blessed.
