Hello CF. I (obviously) am new here, so I thought I'd introduce myself.
As a general discription of me, I'm male, 22, in college, and working on my psychology degree. I have long hair, a large beard (most of the time, anyway) and dress oddly (I wear black kilts, carry a mail bag (or purse I call it some times) and from time to time, pink). I am friendly and always ready to give out some good advice and unconventional wisdom. I am very caring, but never afraid to express my views (while, of course, being very understanding of other's views, and generally knowing I don't have a monopoly on truth.) I am also bipolar (bipolar II to be precise), and deal with depression almost chronicly.
As for views, I am fairly liberal, theologicly. I do believe the in the statements of the Nicine Creed, but don't believe in many things considered 'standard' Christianity. I don't hold strong oppinions on many issues as I just don't know, but try to be open to varried ideas. A large portion of my faith is based on ideas and theology of C.S. Lewis. In fact, for many reasons (including the fact that I am a Christian because of Lewis's works) I value the works of Lewis higher than that of the Bible. I am openly (though, currently not actively) bisexual (I was unsure if it is appropriate to state this according to the rules; I'm very sorry if it is.) I do not believe this is against God's will, and I do have reason to think so given scriptual analysis. I do know that this can't be discussed here because of the rules, but I am more than happy to discuss via pm. Though, I do not appreciate being told I'm going to hell. All in all, with faith, I love God. Jesus is my homie. I count on Him and seek him out as much as I can everyday. I always want good fellowship and good open discussions with my fellow Christians. I know most Christians don't agree with my ideas, but I love them and desire to worship with them anyway.
Er, that's basicly it. Sorry if I end up offending someone at some point. I really don't mean to. Rock on everyone!
